This customized mentoring trajectory is designed to equip dance fellows with the tools they need to successfully navigate their own transformative journey of personal growth, vocational path, and artistic purpose in their professional endeavors. This form of artistic mentoring and coaching for dance artists is radically distinctive. Rather than emphasizing the dancer’s professional positioning, artistic processes, and productions, Mentoring for Dancers focuses on the dancer-artist as a person. It considers their health, life planning, career choices, transitions, and vocational quest. The trajectory features 4 welcoming sessions of one-and half hour spread across 9 weeks. Participants are gently guided with engaging assignments and meaningful tasks as homework at each stage.
The objective of this mentoring trajectory is to provide support to movers, dancers, and creatives of all disciplines, and backgrounds in their professional careers and/ or education. This caring journey is also available to other performing artists in the creative industries who wish to join. The deadline for submissions is December 5. Individual dancers are invited to submit a request along with a motivation letter and a short CV. Organizations and institutions are also welcome to submit requests on behalf of their groups. Period: January- March 2026, hybrid format. Students enrolled in educational programs are eligible for discounts. Places are limited. Inquiries? Contact us
