Lapso de Fuga, a video-dance that explores the relevance and expansion of Tango as a contemporary performing art, has been the culmination of the Coreo-Lab Holland-Argentina research project, spanning several years, and took place in Argentina and the Netherlands.
The creative production and dramaturgy have been led by the artistic leader of Sur Mundo Ensemble, Ms Gabriela Zuarez, in a collaborative co-creation with filmmaker Agustín Ruíz Brussain. The choreography is performed by dancers Sebastián Pereyra and Gabriela Zuarez, under the musical arrangement by pianist-composer Barbara Varassi Pega and the production by Micaela Tettamanti of TRIBU Studio. Lapso de Fuga was made possible with support from Mecenazgo Cultural Buenos Aires. Gabriela Zuárez has been the founder and soul leader of the ensemble for more than 17 years. Trailer
