Mentoring
Mentoring for Dancers
The a one-to-one trajectory Mentoring for Dancers is conceived for those who wish to review, learn, and reflect on the personal, vocational, and professional aspects related to the study/ work field or on the life pathways that might achieve their development.
Dancers’ lives are intense as their careers on and off stage are uncertain. A dancer’s career is lifelong travel, whereas the person-dancer and their body may gain expertise by dedicating endless hours in the rehearsals, at the theatre and attending training and practices while at the same time having to make choices and sacrifices that will trace their personal life.
By participating in this tailored mentoring trajectory, dance fellows can undertake their own transformative journey of personal growth, vocational path, and artistic purpose in their life-professional endeavors. This trajectory is a promising opportunity for those dancers still in training to reflect on their options, the acceptance of their possibilities or the choices for the future. It also leads to re-framing objectives and defining or discovering other ways to develop.
Target groups: dance scholars in the final stages of their Dance BA or Master’s degree. Also suitable for graduates or mid-career practitioners and professionals. Individual dancers can submit their request with a motivation letter and short CV by the 5th December 2025 for the Mentoring for Dancers trajectory in the period January-March 2026. Register

Yogic Practice
Yogic practice for dancers, musicians and proactive individuals on Sunday mornings.
It is a conscious and essential exercise of body and mind that unveils a functional and integrated approach to the biomechanics of the body and the everyday physical efforts. It enhances the spiritual awareness and inner presence of the dancer.
The Yogic practice introduces gentle exercises of body and mind awareness to tune the physical body and to center the mind. The practice interlaces the principles of Kundalini Yoga with elements from Hatha Yoga and flows throughout the entire exercise.
The focus lies on activating and aligning the chakras along the spine and the exercise of all the forms of yogic breathing, leading from physical work into a meditative path. The physical Asanas, Pranayama, Kriyas, and meditation techniques are the organizational chains making the practice both simple and dynamic. The Kriyas use active movement to move from one Asana position to another, alternating with active breathing exercises.
The aim is to achieve integral physical conditioning that supports a meditative state to achieve inner psycho-physical growth and strength, mind awareness, and mental balance to prevent the stressful effects of the professional environment and modern Western life, ultimately fostering a balanced sense of well-being. Sunday Yogic Practice lasts 2.5 hours. It targets people with proactive lifestyles. However, anyone willing can join. Every Sunday morning by request! write to us
